PRESENTATION OF CREDENTIALS
On 12th September, 2022. H.E. Amb. Boniface Mwilu presented his Letters of Credence to HH. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar at the Amiri Diwani.
After the presentation the Emir held a meeting with the Ambassador during which The Emir lauded the excellent and warm bilateral relations that Kenya enjoys with Qatar anchored on mutual respect since Kenya and Qatar established Diplomatic relations in 2003. These warm relations had seen Qatar become a major destination and employer of choice for Kenyan workers.
He congratulated Kenya on the just concluded General Elections and the verdict by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kenya confirming the election of H.E. William Samoei Ruto, EGH., PhD as the President Elect of the Republic of Kenya. The Emir noted that he was keen to further these relations in Trade and Investments where Qatar was willing to invest in Key projects in Kenya.
